Welcome! I am a Sociology PhD Candidate at New York University and a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow.
My research centers on work & occupations, inequality & stratification, and public policy. I investigate a variety of factors that influence income inequality, stratification by race and gender, and worker power.
My research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the Russell Sage Foundation, and the Washington Center for Equitable Growth. Prior to coming to NYU, I was a researcher at the Urban Institute in Washington, DC. I received my bachelor's degree in government, with a minor in economics, from Harvard.
Research from my dissertation has been published by the American Sociological Review.
