Welcome! I am a Sociology PhD Candidate at New York University and a Survey Statistician at the U.S. Census Bureau. Starting this fall, I will be an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Brown University.
My research centers on stratification, work & organizations, gender, and race. I investigate a variety of factors that influence income inequality, stratification by race and gender, and worker power.
My research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the Russell Sage Foundation, and the Washington Center for Equitable Growth. Prior to coming to NYU, I was a researcher at the Urban Institute in Washington, DC. I received my bachelor's degree in government, with a minor in economics, from Harvard.
Research from my dissertation has been published by the American Sociological Review.
